“My only issue was the AC, we can’t put the ac above 70 because it freezes and stop working. And let me tell you, 70 is not cool at all. It’s a big house and you need to put the ac at least on 65 at nights to sleep good.”

“Where arriving my room wasn’t ready for 3 hours pst the actual check in time once inside one of the beds weren’t even made. There were millipedes and roaches that we saw everyday of our stay. Some of the furniture was damaged to point if you sat on it you could litterally fall off and hit your head on the window. Would not recommend spend your money else where. Litterally anywhere else. Nice place but just bad execution.”

“This was an extremely uncomfortable stay. Even just getting into the home was an ordeal. They gave us the wrong code and then forgot to give us the WiFi password. They also forgot to mention how to get inside the development so we didn’t know we had to go through the main gate and give an id. There wasn’t enough cookware, the knives were dull, the floors were disgusting, one home had cockroaches and the others sink broke and leaked everywhere. There was mold in the bathrooms and the pool was covered in algae and leaves and didn’t not look safe to swim in. The grill was an extra cost, as was the usage of the pool, which we didn’t even use cuz it was so dirty and gross looking. This house did not look well maintained or cleaned.”

“This was one of the worst Airbnb experiences I have ever had. From the start, it was a mess. At check-in, we couldn’t access the property because the front door code didn’t work, leaving us stuck outside with no guidance after a long day of travel. Once inside, things only got worse. The house had bugs throughout the kitchen, bedrooms, and even in the beds. This was not a one-time issue—it was constant and made it extremely uncomfortable to stay there. We contacted the host multiple times, but there was no urgency or real effort to resolve anything, which was very frustrating given the circumstances. The air conditioning was not working for most of the stay. An HVAC technician came on the third day, but the issue was not properly fixed and the home remained uncomfortable. There was also a wasp nest by the pool, making the outdoor area largely unusable. Overall, between the access issues, cleanliness concerns, ongoing AC problems, and lack of support, I would not recommend this property”

“STAY AWAY FROM SWANKY VACAY!! Worst vacation experience of my life. After confirming our reservation multiple times, we arrived for a two-week stay only to find another family already in the house. Swanky Vacay admitted a “system error” and left our group of 15+ stranded for hours despite full payment. They eventually moved us—but the new house was filthy, with trash everywhere and roach spray on the counters. Communication was terrible. It took 12 hours to send cleaners who barely did anything. Management was rude and dismissive—one manager even yelled, called me a liar, and threatened cancellation. The house was infested with roaches in every room. An exterminator was promised but never came. We had elderly family and no alternative, so we were stuck. Completely unprofessional, unsanitary, and unacceptable. Avoid at all costs.”
