“I was never able to stay at this property—I couldn’t even get out of my vehicle. The area outside the house felt extremely unsafe, with individuals in apparent states of intoxication right in front, which I documented with photos and videos. I did not feel safe attempting check-in. The property does not offer parking, so you must park on the street and walk at least one block through a dark area with abandoned houses and concerning activity. This is not a safe environment, especially with luggage or at night. I contacted Airbnb immediately but received no real assistance, no clear solution, and no direct support at the time. Later, Airbnb confirmed the host did not respond to them for over 3 days. I had to leave and pay for a hotel out of pocket. I’ve used Airbnb 56+ times worldwide and never experienced a safety issue like this. If you value your safety, do not book this place. This listing should not be active under current conditions.”

“We enjoyed our stay for Spring Break. The home was beautiful and cozy. The host was amazing, quick to respond, and made sure that our needs were met. Great location. Very close to downtown and the beach. We will be reserving this home again in the future.”
