Beach House Real Estate in Holmes Beach, Florida

“We have mixed feelings about the stay. It was a beautiful house, very close to the beach and had a GREAT pool/hottub. Plus check out was a breeze. There were a few issues: The floors were pretty dirty when we arrived, we had a few babies crawling around and all of them had filthy knees/hands from the floor day 1. There were things I expected the host to supply at least a little bit. We had no additional trash bags, no dustpan for the broom and no mop to clean the house. We also had to bring more toilet paper and paper towels but that one is a little more common not have enough of. When asking the host about the need for cleaning supplies I was told that we could buy them ourselves/just have them delivered. The last issue we had was a chair was improperly built and didn’t have screws in one of the legs- it broke when I scooted it to the side. Luckily no one was hurt but it looked like some of the other chairs might have the same issue.”

“Ceiling fan didn’t work in the living room, I messaged multiple times and nothing was done. I left my Amazon fire stick and messaged about that and was told so sorry, nothing can be done. I paid for that and accidentally forgot it. The outdoor fans/lights barely worked. The “downstairs living room” was so hot it was unusable.”

“Beautiful home, great location, cross the street to be right at the beach, we walked to most everywhere, including Bridge St. The only two real drawbacks were the lack of a house manual that told us how to operate the appliances and the lack of small appliances (big griddle, blender with a lid) for a house that holds 18 folks! Also, twice the washer said we had ‘low water’ for washing clothes. We had only 8 people… must be an island issue.?”

“We had no complaints with the house itself. Very comfortable, plenty of spaces to hang out. We had enough towels, a decent amount of cookware and everything was as described and shown in photos. The only critique would be to have the basics such as paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap and laundry detergent. We had to buy all of those things ourselves because there wasn’t enough and typically, at his price point, all of that would be included”
