“Upon arrival the ac was off, 89 degrees inside & humid. The wall behind the toilet was completely missing and covered by cardboard. Floors were filthy. I discovered a white stain on one of the comforters (that was to the bed my son was about to sleep in). Sliding door in primary bedroom would not lock. The maintenance man said the ac wouldn't keep the unit cool because it was an upstairs unit which is untrue. We've stayed in plenty of upstairs apartments (in south Florida at that) w/ working ac units. Anytime we brought an issue to the hosts attention we received a very repetitive "we sincerely apologize" which after the 5th time sounded less and less sincere. I suspect communication is being done through a computer program and not an actual human. A maintenance man did come several days after we raised the issue about the missing wall in the bathroom, however he came while my son and I were out and then we came back to a stranger in our space. We will not book with this host again.”

“Moved in to Gainesville and rented for a few weeks until our place was ready for move in. Place is convenient to Butler Plaza and Archer which is what we needed for our stay. Host was always responsive and proactive with the very few little issues we encountered. I’d stay again.”

“This Airbnb should honestly be removed from the platform. The place had mold in multiple spots and rotting steps that felt unsafe to walk on. I contacted the host right away, but they completely ignored my messages. I had to open five separate customer support tickets just to get any kind of resolution, and it still took two weeks before I finally got a refund. The whole experience was stressful and exhausting. If you value your health, safety, or sanity, do not book this place.”
