“The home itself is a great space in a really good location, so it was disappointing that the cleanliness wasn’t what we expected when we arrived. Unfortunately, the sheets were stained, the pillowcases weren’t on the pillows and we had to put them on ourselves, and the sofa bed linens did not appear to have been changed and had stains and dog hair on them. The fan was also very dusty, so we weren’t comfortable using it. The host was responsive and offered to send the cleaning crew back, which we appreciated. However, we were traveling with an infant and a dog, and having a cleaning crew come into the home while our baby was napping wasn’t really feasible. We also felt these were things that should have been taken care of before check-in. It’s a shame because the property itself has a lot going for it and we otherwise enjoyed the location. With a more thorough and reliable cleaning crew, I think it could be a great stay.”

“The cottage was beautiful, clean and spacious. Beds were really comfortable, showers ran nice and warm, and the a/c kept the house cool. The property was close to all the parks and close to pharmacies, restaurants and other stores( basically everything was at our fingertips). We had one small inconvenience with the washer and dryer not working and our host wasn’t very helpful but airbnb stepped in and we came to solution. Overall it was worth the stay and would recommend it.”

“The house was nice! The carpet and couches could use a shampoo but overall, very nice home. We had an issue with the air working. I reached out to the host and he was very communicative and sent someone over the next day. They said it was fine and it was not. It got over 83 degrees inside and was still that hot at 2AM and beyond. Another tech came the day we were checking out and confirmed a part needed to be replaced on both units and I was correct that it was broken. Also, the seal in the fridge was broken so our food spoiled since the door would not close and we got high temp warnings. It beeped all night since the door was open. If they get those issues fixed, this would be a 5 star property.”
