“The management contacted me way too many times about an additional contract that they insisted I sign, which they said was mandatory. The contract absolves them of any responsibility for the condition of the house. I refused to sign and got in contact with AirBnB who told me there was no obligation for me to sign because it wasn't in their listing. That should have been it, but the management contacted me over 10 times within one day to sign the contract. They started with the app and then called me directly. For the next several days they kept telling me to sign the contract or cancel the reservation. I felt harassed. The day before check-in they contacted me and confirmed that the contract wasn't required. It was excessive and inappropriate. Additionally, there were a number of issues with the house. There were missing blinds in the bathroom shower window that compromised privacy. They fixed that the day after check in. The dishwasher wasn't connected and they never addressed that.”
