Destin Pointe Vacation Rentals reviews in Florida

“Very mixed feelings about our stay. Nice location, overall nice appearance, spacious, etc. We had the option a few weeks out to switch to another condo in the building for about 33% less, but opted not to as we liked the spacious balcony of this property and better living room amenities. I would probably have saved the money looking back. Almost each day we were there we found something that needed to be repaired, or noticed that just walking around the condo there must not have been thorough cleaning as our feet picked up noticeable amounts of dirt. Secondary parking was a bit of a mess as the gate was not connected to the opening mechanism at any point so one night required physical lifting of the gate to get in. Until the last day had large construction equipment partially blocking the route in. During their operating hours the management company was very responsive and sent maintenance when asked. Just seemed like a lot of little things could’ve been done a lot better.”

“Nice comfortable home perfect for a couple or small group. A few things that will likely get refreshed at the end of the season. Nice overall stay”

“Enjoyed our stay thanks!”

“Overall, one of the worst places we’ve stayed in Destin. And we’ve stayed at over 30 spots on the island. Very outdated - 1980’s. Incredibly smelly and moldy. No towels. No soap.”

“The condo was just like the pic, even better. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you would ever need. Beds were ok not really comfy, but not the worse. A lengthy walk to the beach. When you got there you only had 4 feet of beach access for all the units. So forget about putting up a tent and enjoying a day at the beach unless you go to the public access. Same for the boat dock if you would like to fish 4 ft. Is all you are allowed. That’s all the units total. Stay clear of the HOA. The couple we met made it very clear about your boundaries & they did not like renters. LOL If you follow the rules, (and there are many) you will be Ok. I can’t say enough about the condo. It was beautiful & and we had a great time. We would certainly go again!”
