“BEWARE! I had high expectations for this rental because family members have stayed in this neighborhood so I thought it would be perfect but was far from it. First, the place was never cleaned. I have photos/videos as proof. Candy wrappers & food crumbs under the beds, stains on couches/walls, hair on the towels, mold in the showers, & absolutely no cleaning supplies. The pool/hot tub looks amazing in photos but nothing like that in person. The pool is completely dark at night without any surroundings lights & the hot tub was just as cold as the pool which was so disappointing because I booked specifically for this amenity. When we reached out to inform about the house not being cleaned prior to our arrival we were spoken to in a very condescending tone & told it isn’t possible because someone was there to clean in the morning despite our evidence. The host then had cleaning supplies sent via Walmart the next evening, too late. Refunding the cleaning fee is the only fair option here.”

“The home is spacious, but the listing photos are dated and the property could definitely use more upkeep. The hosts were polite and quickly addressed the bathroom privacy issue, which we appreciated. However, many other maintenance issues remained. The pool screen was broken our entire stay, the sliding door was difficult to use, the upstairs bidet and several remotes didn’t work, the washing machine smelled like mildew, and we even found a dead baby lizard behind peeling wallpaper. We requested extra towels, but they never arrived, so we purchased our own. We also arrived after a long drive to find the bathroom soap dispensers empty. Communication was friendly but lacked follow-through. Overall, the home has potential, but it needs better maintenance, better stocking of essentials, and more consistent follow-through. Based on our experience, we would not stay here again.”

“Nice location and no issues until last night and noticed live bed bugs in master room. Sent pics and videos of the live bugs to host and then they stopped communicating with me. Working with Airbnb support”
