“GUESTS BEWARE! We booked this Airbnb for a tranquil, bright workspace, but it was the exact opposite. Upon arrival, we were hit with a strong perfume smell masking a sewage-like odor. The property is next to a major road with constant loud traffic, making it far from peaceful. 65 mph wizzing by! The photos were heavily edited to seem larger and brighter, but in reality, it was dim, dank and small. We prepaid for a month, but left within an hour due to these issues. The hosts refused to refund the $3,500, and we’re now forced into legal action. They were also dismissive of these issues stating that ‘different people respond to noise differently’…. Yea? Maybe disclose this issue in your listing so guests can decide for themselves if they want that experience. It’s obvious now, from listing photos, they’re trying to hide the fact the road is 50’ from master BR, living room and front door. Notice they closed the shades ? If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat, avoid!”
