“This 2-WEEK stay involved large cockroaches indoors, unresolved maintenance, access problems, and written instructions that did not match what actually happened. 1. We found 2-inch cockroaches inside the property. Management responded that the home receives weekly pest control, but offered no inspection, treatment, or other follow-up. We removed some of the insects ourselves. 2. A poorly functioning dryer and loose toilet seat were reported early in the stay. Despite repeatedly providing clear availability windows on multiple days, management attempted to schedule maintenance outside those times, and both problems remained unresolved. We were still chasing a repair plan days later. 3. Management confirmed in writing that Happy Stays was optional and that ALL access information would be provided through Airbnb. Nevertheless, we were stopped at the gate and physically unable to enter until we completed a separate QR-code registration process that had not previously been disclosed.”
