My family and I have traveled to Orlando every Fourth of July for the past eight years, and this was our first stay with Orange Vacation Homes. The home itself was nice, clean, and comfortable. However, it is directly across from a major construction site, with constant noise and construction visible from nearly every window. This was not disclosed in the Airbnb listing, and had we known, we would have booked elsewhere. The outdoor patio also lacked a TV, so we couldn't enjoy watching the FIFA World Cup as planned. We also paid over $100 for a grill, which wasn't delivered until the following afternoon and arrived without a propane tank. While the host was responsive, the explanation that it was a holiday weekend was disappointing. My biggest concern is the lack of transparency in the listing. Guests should be informed about the nearby construction so they can make an informed booking decision.

Okay so here’s the thing: Pros: -house was in a fairly new neighborhood -Simple check in -plenty of cookware -club house amenities are included for guest (lazy river, pool, water slide, gym etc.) Cons: The power went out during our stay—-in June so it was extremely HOT. We contacted the clubhouse and the host and they told us to google power outages near us and that’s how we would get updates. So it didn’t seem like a concern to them that it was hot and we had no A/C for the day and we spent most of the day at pool or out of house since it was so hot. Also a lot of the furniture needs deep cleaning or changing from wear and tear. The bar seats are stained, and the outdoor pool furniture needs cleaning. Also we were sure to put all of the towels in the laundry for them, removed all trash, load dish washer, and clean up but we were still later accused of owing $400 for dirty towels 10 days after we left?!?! Lastly, the house is VERY far from parks.. 30mins to Disney, 50+to universal

Perfect place for a multi-generational family vacation! The house was exactly as pictured, and the resort was beautiful. The only downside was that it's a newer community, so there was active construction right outside the home. It was a little frustrating, especially for those staying in the bedrooms closest to the construction, and we wish it had been disclosed before booking. Other than that, we had a great time, made lots of wonderful memories, and really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The neighborhood felt nice and safe, which made us feel at ease throughout our trip. It was a bit of a drive from Orlando, but nothing too bad. One of our favorite parts was the clubhouse pool — we spent a lot of time there and really enjoyed it! My only small complaint was the shortage of pool towels at the house; there were only 9 available, which wasn’t quite enough for our group. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would stay again.
