“I had many issues on this vacation, but the most stressful was the mice that seemed to run the place”

“It was a mixed bag and positives were great location and large space internally with great cinema room. The decor was tired and not as looked on photos with furnishings and walls in need of refresh and cobwebs and dust prevalent. Dishwasher leaked over floor and reported to host but zero engagement and my husband had to fix the issue to allow use. On departure left a mobile on entrance table and could not reenter the villa as code had changed after exit time, when raising this matter with host showed little interest and advised his cleaner had been there 15 years and would not steal a cell phone, I beg to differ, disappointing end to our trip. 5th trip to Davenport area and 3rd stay in Championsgate and would not recommend based on other places we have stayed”

“The rules stated we could keep the air-conditioning at 70. But it was preset at 75 and we had to continually turn it down which would only keep it down to 72 for a few hours at a time. There were no dish towels or washed rags for the kitchen so we had to go to the store and purchase these things. There were not enough bath towels for all of us to use. The dryer was broke when we got there we got a hold of Luis and didn’t hear anything right away, so we eventually pulled it out and fixed it ourselves in order to have a dryer. There were nails coming up out of the floor going down the stairs in a couple of the family members did cut their foot on them. The patio door would only open and shut part of the time it would constantly get hung up and would not work properly. Luis did send someone over to work on it and they said they needed a part and never showed back up that was on the first day we were there.”

“The house was a good style and in the right location for us. Luis was helpful & responsive. Unf cleaning let the house down. A dirty glass on the floor beside the main bed & a dirty spoon on the floor in the same place between the bedside cabinet & bed in the downstairs front bedroom from previous guests and toothpaste residue on front bathroom wall. The air duct on main landing for a/c was filthy. The bed sheet in main bed was v poor fitting and old. The pillows on the same bed smelt of body odour & unclean hair, we had to purchase new ones. The mattress on the same bed had no protection cover and also had an unfresh smell. The internet in main bedroom so poor we were unable to use ipad/computer. The water pressure to main bathroom so low we had to use another bathroom to shower & bathe & no makeup mirror in main bathroom which is important. Cookwear not sufficient. Only one v large saucepan to boil one egg. No point in raising issue with host & waste our vacation time.”

“The home is in a great neighborhood with a nice community pool, and the area itself was one of the highlights of our stay. However, there were several issues with the condition and upkeep of the property that impacted our experience. One disappointment was that no pool towels were provided. Since we were flying in for vacation, we didn’t pack our own towels, and when I asked the host about using the house towels for the pool, I was told not to. The home has huge potential, but it doesn’t appear to be well maintained. The smoke detector in the upstairs hallway was missing entirely, leaving exposed wires hanging from the ceiling, and a can light in the same hallway was also hanging down by wires. The bed sheets in my daughter’s room had a large yellow stain, and throughout the home there were noticeable stains and gouges on the walls and baseboards, along with broken door frames and damaged door slides.”
