Coastal Joe Vacation Rentals in Cape San Blas, Florida

“Our family and my brothers family had a great week on Cape San Blas at this house. The pool was the perfect size and setup with 6 boys. The walk to the beach was quick and easy, even the toddlers could walk it. The kitchen and living room views were perfect for sunset watching every night after dinner. The downstairs bedroom was a great hangout for our older kids when the little ones napped upstairs, so the adults could swim kid-free. This was our second trip to CSB which helped us know what we were looking for in terms of a rental setup and location.”

“This rental did not match its high price. While the location was good and the owner was responsive, many issues impacted the stay. There were not enough towels and not all bedding was on the beds. The elevator did not work despite being advertised. Cleanliness was poor, with dirty floors, bathrooms, and kitchen, and even dead frogs found inside. Serious pest issues included a snake, cockroaches, and frogs. Bathrooms had drainage and design problems, and water pressure was low. Internet was unreliable and completely ineffective on the balconies and at the pool. The pool area lacked lighting. Outdoor couches were worn out and in poor condition. Owner provided $250 credit on beach gear rental (chairs, wagon, boggie boards) - a couple of the rented chairs were in poor condition. Logging into personal streaming accounts was inconvenient. Overall, the property felt overpriced and poorly maintained, and we would not return.”

“My wife and I stayed for a week, and the location and AirBnB were perfect for relaxing on Cape San Blas. The house was spacious with good separated rooms across floors, and Coastal Joe was proactive and clear with instructions.”

“House was nice and clean, open and airy feeling with nice view of ocean. Note there is a house between this one and ocean, but view from top floor balcony was unimpeded. The elevator did not work which was unknown to us prior to arrival and one guest needed it and was one of the reasons we booked this house. Requests for help with elevator were ignored. Ask before you rent. If the elevator works, or your guests don't need it, it is a great place to stay.”
