Coastal Joe Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.75 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“We absolutely love Cape San Blas. My husband and I have been several times to recharge and relax. We are from Central Florida so we are not looking for another tourist destination. We appreciate the gatherings on the beach for nightly sunsets and small, family owned places to eat and shop. This unit was beautiful and so very convenient to the beach and pool. The fact that I could grab a chair and be by the shore in minutes was absolutely perfect. We chartered a fishing trip with 9 Hooks Fishing Charters and caught enough fish for 2 nights of dinners. If you are looking for a place to truly be At Ease, then this is the spot.”airbnb

“This was such a fun place to be with kids. The house was lovely and the location was great. You’re close to the state park at the end of the cape, while also not being too far from st.joe proper which makes getting groceries and things easy. The house has a lovely walk to the beach but I do recommend renting a cart if you have lots of things. It’s just enough of a walk to tire you with a bunch of stuff. I appreciated the accommodations for children, cribs, stair gates etc. the kitchen was pretty much fully stocked to make cooking easy. Our kids enjoyed the nex cube game also. The house is great for family vacations.”airbnb

“This home was beautiful. It has a great layout. The ocean and beach are only a few steps away. The balcony was magical. There is always a breeze blowing. The beaches are private with limited people on them. It was a very relaxing vacation. There isn't much to do here or even to eat, but there is plenty of options in the town 20 minutes away.”airbnb

“Our family and my brothers family had a great week on Cape San Blas at this house. The pool was the perfect size and setup with 6 boys. The walk to the beach was quick and easy, even the toddlers could walk it. The kitchen and living room views were perfect for sunset watching every night after dinner. The downstairs bedroom was a great hangout for our older kids when the little ones napped upstairs, so the adults could swim kid-free. This was our second trip to CSB which helped us know what we were looking for in terms of a rental setup and location.”airbnb

“We had a great stay and had previously stayed in this neighborhood. It’s quiet and has a beautiful beach area”airbnb

“Overall stay was good - the house had a lot of room and provided a good amount of amenities. However, the ice machine did not work the entire week we stayed - even after maintenance came to fix the issue (reportedly this had not worked for quite a while). This house also needs a lot of upgrades to the floors, bathrooms, furniture, etc. Great location on the cape.”airbnb

“Check in was delayed until 6 PM tried all day to get the code got no response until it was ready at 6. Had AC issues but that was addressed right way. Over all we had a great stay would book again.”airbnb

“We were only there for 3 days, but it would have been nice to have more than 1 towel a piece”airbnb

“Really liked it as indicated on the review. Seemed a little expensive at around 1,000 a night. Add that to a 10 am checkout and a 4-5 check-in. Also there is a significant hole in the driveway that could easily be filled. Lastly, the bushes were so overgrown, one had to push branches side in order to start climbing the stairs.”airbnb

“First let me say, the house we actually stayed in, Le Bella Vita, was gorgeous and someplace we would rent again, independently. The house we rented and paid for, Southern Comfort, was waterfront and directly in the path of beach rejuvenation, rendering our private beach inaccessible with 24/7 construction, including 2 port-a-potties on our 'beach.' We were not made aware of this until after we were checked in, via email and definitely weren't explained the realty of what we would have to live with. However, Costal Joe did accommodate an immediate transfer to Le Bella Vita, however charged us the same price as Southern Comfort, even though we were moved 1 row off waterfront, where prices drop dramatically. We were also never provided with a new rental agreement on this change, and maybe the home owners of these two homes don't care...but I think I would want to know if my home was stayed in...and be compensated accordingly. Regardless, our stay in Le Bella Vita was delightful.”airbnb
