Overall, this was a great house for my family. I wish they had a welcome binder with area attractions and restaurants for people staying in the house to reference if they’d like to go out to eat, or different area attractions to check out and popular nearby beaches. Noticed the pool light was not working within the first two days and sent a message about it. Nobody ever came out to look at it or fix it, but they asked a few days later if someone had fixed it… then said they’d put in a maintenance request. The AC fan wasn’t blowing properly one day when we got home, and they gave me instructions how to trouble shoot it when they could have had someone come look at it. They have pretty prompt response time to messages, but their action to correct issues needs major work IMO… especially when guests are in their home raising issues to them, rather than making them feel ignored and not important.

The house, location and neighborhood was very nice. My family didn't enjoy taking cold showers everyday.

The value of the home we paid for was not worth the nearly $8000 investment, as we had to leave within the first week. There was no air conditioning in the house, and it was 85° outside. They didn't add us to the security list, so we had trouble entering the gated community each time we left and came back. There were black widow spiders in the house, and it lacked basic household amenities like tissue paper and soap.

The home itself was beautiful and matched the listing, but our stay was overshadowed by an ant infestation. Communication was also frustrating, as it appeared to be handled through a call center rather than directly with the host. The phone number provided never worked, and the issue wasn't addressed until we were able to send photos, which unnecessarily delayed getting help while the problem continued. I understand that pests can happen, especially in Florida, but this seemed like an issue that should have been caught before guests arrived. I would recommend more frequent pest control between rentals to help prevent future guests from dealing with the same situation. With better communication and proactive maintenance, this could be a great place to stay.
