“We had a great stay !The house was perfect for our family, clean, in great condition, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was a good size for meal prepping, and we loved using the grill on the back patio. The pool was so refreshing after long beach days, and loved all the privacy. The sectional in the family room was perfect for movie nights. It’s also a short walk to the beach, which was super convenient. Communication was easy, Nikki and her team responded quickly, and check-in instructions were clear. I would definitely say the credit for the beach rental equipment made things so easy, they delivered everything to the house before we arrived and picked it up after we left, which was super convenient. My only recommendation for staying anywhere on the island is to rent a golf cart, it makes getting around and bringing beach gear so much easier, especially since parking at restaurants can be limited. I’ll definitely do that next time we visit! Overall, we had a lovely time!”airbnb

“What an amazing property. Hosts were fantastic, very responsive and in a timely manner. House was incredible, clean, spacious, and perfect for our two families. Great location to get to Pine and the beach. Just two small items to consider: First, there were no life jackets provided for the kayaks, be sure to hit up Beach Bums to get vests. Next, the downstairs bunk room is considerably warmer than the rest of the house due to duct work or air flow, but easily 5-10 degrees warmer than any other room in the house with AC on full. We tried door open, door closed, box fans, etc. The room is simply much warmer than rest of house for whatever reasons. This was an incredible house with an excellent host, would rent again.”airbnb

“La Buena Vida was perfect for our family. We had enough bedrooms with no one sleeping on the couch and each bedroom had a bathroom. The pool and spa were wonderful. We enjoyed seeing the Manatees in the canal behind the house. This is a great place for families.”airbnb

“This house is fantastic. The location is perfect, the amenities are thoughtful, and the entire place feels relaxing the second you walk in. From the shiplap ceilings to the beautiful flooring, everything feels clean, cozy, and perfectly “beach vacation.” The little touches made a huge difference too — baskets full of beach towels and throw blankets, comfortable bedding, ice-cold AC, ceiling fans in every room, plus an outdoor foot bath and shower that are perfect when you’re steps from the beach. Now…the couch. I say this lovingly: it made me feel like the Princess and the Pea, strategically arranging pillows to avoid the mystery mountain range hiding in the cushions. Truly the only downside to an otherwise amazing stay. Also: Ginny’s & Jane E’s Café, Pizzano’s Pizza, The Freckled Fin, and Mademoiselle Paris Bakery are all fantastic nearby spots. Bonus points because my wife caught a 39-inch keeper cobia on our first night here. Amazing trip, amazing house, amazing island.”airbnb
