30A Beach Girls in Alys Beach, Florida

“Nice house, not good customer service. In law suite rented to other guests not advertised. CS reps not local to area. Most frustratingly, however, was dealing with 30A Beach Girls (Hollie) directly. AC system had an issue such that the third floor blasted so hard that it caused the second floor thermostat in the hall to register at 64 degrees, preventing air from pumping into any of the bedrooms. We have a temperature sensor on my son's baby monitor which consistently measured his room temperature at 75-80 degrees nightly. Hollie said she'd send maintenance but ignored several requests asking when to expect them. If they did come, we weren't there, and nothing changed. We used 30A Beach Girls three years ago and felt they were much more eager to provide customer service that was commensurate with the luxury price tag for these homes. Unfortunately, with growth, I sense that motivation has subsided. We will probably use a different rental company in the fut”

“Overall, the home is beautiful. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is well-stocked, and it is walkable to both the beach and the pool. There were a couple issues worth calling out. First, while it is well decorated, all the intricate decor was very dusty and hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned in some time. Second, the home was advertised to have an EV charger and dedicated parking, but did not. It was also not disclosed to have a separate rental unit above the garage. Finally, since there is no dedicated parking, you likely have to park in the front of the home. But the only way to get in the house when it is locked up is through the back and past the other rental unit and tenants. Also, while not a specific “problem” for some travelers, we would not recommend this home if you’re traveling with little ones. The home is not toddler friendly — the front porch has no railing or gate, making falling off very easy. The decor was fragile and sharp as well and required some kid-proofing upon”

“Our group had a great time staying at the “Beach Bike Way” house. The house was stunning and very clean. We loved the access to the resort pool and private beach. The beach was beautiful!! There are so many fun walkable restaurants and shops close by! We had a little trouble finding the customer service hut to obtain our wrist band at check in. A binder of check in-out information at the house would be really helpful! We also noticed upon arrival that there were no beach towels even though they had been listed in the amenities provided. We messaged our host and had to advocate for them to bring some for us since we didn’t bring any. The host came through same evening with towels for us to use at the beach, and basic kitchen essentials that were also missing from the kitchen. It was a little frustrating to have to be messaging about things that were listed as included in our stay. Overall we had a good experience and loved our time on 30A.”
