“We had a group of six for 2 nights, the house itself is cozy and comfortably fit all of us, there were a couple things that need to be improved on. The listing mentioned that guests need to bring linens, but after booking we were informed that we also had to bring towels as well. Linens and towels are not the same. This really needs to be clearly specified in the description. The optional linen rental was around $175, which felt extremely overpriced and unreasonable. We bought sheets for less. Cleanliness was a major concern. Every item in the kitchen—plates, utensils, cookware—had a noticeable layer of grease and food residue, so we had to wash everything before using it. On top of that, there were ants all over the kitchen counter coming from a hole in the kitchen window, and we also spotted a couple of roaches around the house. Unfortunately, some of these bugs later showed up in our bags and even on food we had stored on the counter, which was very unsettling.”
