“Slow to respond, would not let us in until we paid $80 resort fee: door was locked. Vacasa could not open it. Vacasa said I shouldn’t have had to pay the $80 to get in. Had to get maintenance to get us in. No blankets for the pull out. Fridge was on cold but was warm and had to throw out food and ice cream. Was refunded the $80. Spent all weekend on the phone with Airbnb and Vacasa!”

“They charge 20 Dollar per person because of the amenities, something that was not specified. The place was very nice but need some maintenance and detail clean kitchen was not that clean.”

“We had a problem with the dates we booked. There were lots of other rentals managed by Vacassa that could have accommodated us but Vacassa was totally inflexible in changing the booking. Instead doubling down on their no changes after 24hrs of booking policy. Commutation was “talk to the other guy”. Vacassa is an unnecessary middleman and does not offer the host experience we enjoy about Airbnb. I recommend Airbnb not work with them. I feel badly though for giving such a bad review because the apartment, though we had to leave early, was just what we were looking for. So my apologies to the owners. They should consider dropping Vacassa.”

“Would not recommend, I would not rent again. The condo was filthy, beer cans left in cupboard, underwear and bra left in closet. Quilts, pillows and blankets dirty, stained with a strong odor. Complained, they didn’t offer anything assistance said they would but didn’t get back after we purchased new bed linens and pillows, I called again they responded as though they resolved the issue. Very frustrating.”
