It was a beautiful unit in a prime location! The house was very comfortable and the views from the peaceful patio were perfect!

Overall, the place was nice. I just wish that they would’ve put in the description that there was no air-conditioning. We arrived at 4 PM (check-in time) and the place was over 80° so it obviously couldn’t cool down before we had to go to sleep. The responsiveness was also very slow. I didn’t get answers to a few of the questions I needed answers to. The location is nice though in the middle of Vail.

As soon as I booked with Red Awning I received multiple messages from fake company's asking for payment. This did not make me feel like my information was secure. The apartment was very small and although it has a room with multiple bunkbeds the space was very small for five people. The washer and dryer were listed as an amenity and there are a single communal washer and dryer down a long hall in a closet that cost several dollars each in quarters. This was quite inconvenient for a family of five with warm weather skiing and wet conditions. The check in also required a separate stop at a realty office in Vail at the opposite end of Lionshead. The check in required signing and initialing more documents and giving a credit card for security. All of this could be done online without requiring arranging to meet at an office not in the same location as the property. The location of the property is right in Lionshead close to the Gondola and shops, but noisy.
