I had a very lovely week trip in Snowmass. This place does have a great location, it is ski in/out which was very convenient for skiing at snowmass. It was just uphill from the Snowmass mall, with tons of shopping and food, as well as the bus stop, which was great for going skiing at the other mountains in the area. Also short gondola ride to the Snowmass base village, so tons to do within your immediate surroundings. The place itself was clean, no issues at all there, I just think the unit could use some updating. There’s a decent amount of cracks in the drywall, the shower head is very old and not efficient, and the appliances are all very old. The bed itself is a queen bed, but has a mattress topper that is likely a double, which makes it fairly uncomfortable to sleep on due to the smaller mattress topper. Overall, the stay was fine, but I think the unit was not worth the price point. Id likely stay in another, more updated unit, in the same building next time.

Property manger scammed us when dangerous winds cancelled flight for my birthday surprise for my sons. While at the airport, I could have booked another flight and left the next day and still got them there. First agent said extra day were available and we could accommodate and pay extra. Then a manager got involved and decided it was better to just take all our money and not have to clean, so they then lied and claimed the unit was taken. The original agent said it was available, but the manager saw a chance to screw us and used it to ruin a birthday ski trip. We waited at the airport trying to get another flight while they played these sick games, praying we could get a confirmation from them so we could rebook a flight. They lied about the trip and then tried to steal our money as well. Absolute crooks and thieves. If you own a property, don’t employ them and if you need a property, avoid. I am a 10 year user of Airbnb with perfect 5 star and never an issue until these crooks.
