“The property was nicely decorated and had a welcoming aesthetic, which we appreciated! Unfortunately, there were several aspects of our stay that fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, we noticed an unpleasant odor. The carpets were stained, and the downstairs area especially needed a thorough cleaning, as we noticed bugs, spiderwebs, and dust. We were also surprised to discover that the hot tub was shared, which we hadn’t anticipated. Additionally, the hot tub jets would not properly shut off, and there were no clear instructions on how to operate them. The pull-out bed was another disappointment, as no sheets were provided and the mattress was noticeably sunken in, making it uncomfortable. While the decor was lovely, the property would benefit from better cleaning, maintenance, and clearer communication regarding amenities. Overall, we were disappointed with our experience.”

“Great location for anyone who loves the outdoors. The river is right there with easy access, and the in-town trails are close enough to walk or bike from the door. We spent most of our time outside and loved how convenient it was. The space itself was comfortable and clean, and it made a great home base for exploring. I’m leaving one star off because of the additional fees for damage protection that is required for the stay. A third-party management company required either a $75 non-refundable damage waiver or a $500 refundable security deposit – seems like an over-reach and not customary in my Airbnb experience. The stay itself was lovely, and I’d recommend it for the location alone.”

“The place itself is very nice. Very clean. We had a wonderful stay. The views were amazing! The instructions to check in, check out and for the hot tub were easy to figure out. Very easy to communicate with the host. Even though you have a “private yard” the neighbor staying in unit A, looks directly into the private yard from their bedroom. There’s not much noise dampening in the house itself so if you are staying in unit B, just know you can hear every footstep of the people in the unit above. It’s not bad during the day, but at night it can be a bit frustrating.”

“Kaitlyn at Renjoy was wonderful to work with! Very helpful and friendly when we were looking for recommendations or needed questions asked about the house. Being able to see the deer and other wildlife from the balcony was so cool! Our group loved the house! The reason we didn’t give it 5 stars was due to a few house updates/maintenance that needed to be done to the house or appliances. The washer on the second floor leaked when we first used it. The dryer on the second floor had a mind of its own and would randomly tell us that the laundry was dry and it was still very wet. The light in that room didn’t work. The ice maker in the refrigerator wouldn’t make very much ice. Other than that it was a really good place for our group! Plenty of room for our group of 16 to be together but then also have our own space when we needed it.”

“Went for wedding week, no closets to hang anything, and space was not fully clean. The fenced yard is partially chicken wire and pallets. Ac units smelled of cat litter and weed. Cleaners showed up an hour early and told us she needed to start then so we rushed out. Appreciative to have somewhere to stay… but wouldn’t go back.”
