“Our stay was fine, the unit itself was as described and fit our needs. However, the reason for our lower rating, relative to many other bnb’s we have stayed at, was that the price vs the setup was steep. The home itself is a unit attached to other units and looked to be 1 of 3 living spaces. We were lucky that no one else was renting because we would have all been very close to each other. The surrounding property was pretty but it was unclear where you could and couldn’t go, it was also unfortunate there was no seating to enjoy the view of the river. Bottomline, the whole stay/place was fine but I can’t justify coming back at $350+ a night.”

“The cabin was very peaceful and private. Beautiful wooded setting just far enough away from the town of Salida , which we love. We did wake up to find big muddy bear paws on the drivers side of the van , be sure to lock the car and remove all traces of food. No damage. The cabin was clean and loaded with all the comforts of home . We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon . However we avoided the fire pit but it does have a nice patio area. Romantic , private ,comfy and clean.”
