This beautiful home kinda makes you stay on the balcony to drink your coffee to having a cold drinks in the evening. Our family sure did make memories here.”

“The dishwasher was broken and we had to handwash dishes for five adults over four days. Mugs in the back of the cupboard had coffee rings in them so I don’t think the broken dishwasher just happened before our arrival. Both rocking chairs on the main back deck were broken. The table on the table was leaning and couldn’t be used for dining. Back deck needs sanding and sealing—lots of splinters in the wood and some of the decking is missing. Some of the bath towels in the downstairs bath smelled moldy or of dog urine. The washing machine had mold and moldy standing water in the rubber sealing. The brochures of local things to do left in the dining room were three years old. I think the home needs better regular maintenance and upkeep of the deck, outdoor furniture and appliances.”

“Great location and very clean! The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything you needed to make a meal. We really enjoyed being in easy walking distance of downtown Salida! The only slightly negative thing is that the business/company across the river starts running their trucks around 6:30; we were up by then so it didn’t matter, but might wake you up if you are trying to sleep in!”
