Beautiful house in a peaceful beautiful setting. Enjoyed the back patio every evening, admiring the mountains.

Cute and spacious home in a great location with beautiful views of the mountains. Description states there is a starter supply of firewood, however we were not provided this. So I would recommend going to the grocery store in town and buying enough wood to keep the fire going for the length of your stay as the house does get very chilly. This home also greatly needs curtains (at minimum in the upstairs bathroom) as you can see right into the bathroom from the street and there is absolutely no privacy. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

Overall the home was spacious but cozy, super private, with breathtaking views. There were only a few things I noticed that would make it so much better. 1) There wasn't any kindling/wood and more importantly, no hatchet or ax so when we bought firewood, we couldn't chop any kindling. 2) the living room is extremely cold. With the thermostat set to 70, it never got above 60. So without a fire, it's pretty cold for hanging out, especially at night. This room also has the only TV in the home. 3) We were pretty surprised there wasn't one upstairs, that would be nice in the primary bedroom. 4) Also in the primary, we found ourselves really wishing the bed was bigger. I believe it's listed as a queen, but it felt like a double to us. We are on the taller side and my husband's feet hung off the edge. 5) Lastly, the water is pretty bad. Sulphur smell, which is normal, but also a mildewy odor. We couldn't drink it or cook with it, and there is no drinking water provided. All in all good though

This place is gorgeous and can be a 5 star destination with a little preparation. The windows provide an unobstructed view of the gorgeous mountains from the living room, kitchen and master bedroom - it is absolutely breathtaking but it comes with a small price in the winter, which is that the living room is chilly. There is a wood burning stove but there is not much wood provided and what you can buy at the tractor supply doesn’t burn very well. Buy the fire logs at Walmart that burn 3 hours and put the wood on top and you will have no problem . No directions are provided for the wood burning stove so just know you want the flu fully open to start (pushed in) otherwise the house will fill with smoke. Bring your own toilet paper and bottled water and remember that the internet password begins with a lower case not uppercase. We hope to visit in the fall when the scrub oak and aspens will be as gorgeous as the snow!
