Plushy in Glenwood Springs, Colorado

“We had a nice stay overall. The host was responsive, friendly, and quick to answer questions, making the experience easy and enjoyable. The property sits on a quiet gravel road just a short drive from downtown, offering both convenience and a peaceful setting. Our favorite feature was the backyard—a relaxing spot to enjoy the evening and night sky, though you need to be inside by 10 pm. The property is also along the river; while you can’t see it from the rental, it’s nice knowing it’s nearby. We didn’t cook, but there was plenty of equipment and space available. It would be a nice touch to include coffee for the coffee pot. A few things to note: the shower temperature changes quickly, and since the unit is on a lower level, you can hear footsteps from upstairs. A train also passes nearby at night, which may affect light sleepers. Overall, we appreciated the peaceful setting, convenient location, and excellent communication from the host.”

“Here’s my best attempt at a fair but fully transparent review. • Pros - Good location, 5-7 min from glenwood springs. - Host is kind and responsive but clearly doesn’t know what’s going on with the place. - We never had problems with noise from the local tenants. • Cons - The place was filthy. Leftover food in the fridge and freezer. Dishes were dirty. The bathroom had thick cobwebs everywhere. Furniture covers were dirty. The bed seemed fairly clean but after everything else we just felt nervous with everything. Towels were dingy. Used sponges with no clean ones available. - The view out the 1 small window in the apartment was obstructed by a ton of yard equipment haphazardly placed. - The TV’s display was broken with a green line going down the center. To be fair I spoke with the tenant. She said “she runs the Airbnb” but I think there’s a disconnect between her and the host plushy. She washed dishes and mopped floors. Place still needs to be cleaned between each stay.”
