“The place looks better in the photos than in real life. Unfortunately we had to leave early due to a family loss (which the host refused to refund even though we were willing to pay the minimum required stay). However, we weren’t disappointed to leave. Beautiful location, quiet, private, but that describes the environment not the home. Deck is badly cracked and weathered, loose rails, Blake was responsive but didn’t seem to know what was at the property. Stove top needs the gas turned on and then lit with a lighter but the gas can just run if the knob is turned. Unsafe. It is not readily apparent but there is no A/C and the home runs off battery and solar. Without AC fans in each bedroom would’ve been nice to have. Interior had cracked walls and damaged countertops with stained/soiled bedding in the loft. Broken blinds and lampshades. Dining table was sagging in middle. Wires were literally hanging out of the ceiling fan and the fan would not function. Would not stay again.”

“Spacious home! Any concern we had was met quickly in a timely response. I appreciated that very much. One concern was the cleanliness. Having to clean upon arrival is not something I desire to do. Went on a tiny goose chase trying to find enough bath towels for our crew. Didn’t use the high chair available because of the broken wheel. And could have used the pack-n-play but was told there was not one available so we had to make extra arrangements to bring one. The mountains and stars were phenomenal. We were able to walk around outside and it was so peaceful. Very much off grid (cell reception was very hard for a few of us).”

“This place is not for everyone but was perfect for us and our pups. Extremely remote, at the dead end of a mountain road, 4x4 recommended. Completely off grid but still with comforts like hot water, dishwasher and laundry. Comfy beds. AMAZING DECK!! Increasing views”

“My big family had plenty of space to sleep and hang around when there wasn’t something planned. Plenty of things to do for my kids if they get bored. Great if you like to be outdoors and like hiking. We loved our stay in the mountain!”

“Beautiful place, beautiful surroundings, just seemed like the a/c couldn’t quite keep up with the 90° weather. We opened up the windows, and that made it a lot cooler, though. WiFi wasn’t the greatest either, but that’s not what you’d be out there for. Overall, great place to stay and hang out if you want to enjoy the nature and mountains. Very friendly host as well.”
