Triad Vacation Rentals

Triad Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.79 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

None of this rating is on Blake. It is on the owner of the property. Leftover messes, dirt stains on the dishes, dirty q tips with earwax on them, smell in bathroom, broken hose and water had to be shut off and we had to leave.

This is a very old building built-in 1880 I believe. And it probably hasn't been updated since the '80s. The close walk to the square would be nice if there wasn't so much construction going on. There was food left in the fridge I assume from the previous visitors, and only half a roll of toilet paper. Ended up having to buy some which man another trip back across town to the Walmart. It's a good stay if you need something in an emergency but I likely won't book again

I’ve left maybe 3 bad reviews in my life, but people should know what to expect. I rented this cabin for a girls weekend celebrating my best friend’s marriage. Six of us planned to stay, but luckily only 4 came because the basement, with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, was unusable. The property was poorly cleaned/maintained. The living room had dog/human hair and dirt throughout. The basement was extremely humid and smelled strongly of cat urine, so no one could sleep there. We found a dirty rag on the couch, smears on TVs/windows/mirrors/fridge, trash in the kitchen bin, a hot tub filled below the jets, soggy rope where you enter the tub, and a damaged air hockey table covered in hair. I reported everything afterward with photos. Management essentially dismissed my concerns, even disputing the dirty carpet and hot tub water level, while ignoring the cat urine smell entirely. The response was so strange I wondered if I was communicating with an automated system rather than a human.

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing stay. The property had clearly not been properly cleaned before our arrival. The floors had not been vacuumed or mopped, countertops were dirty, leftover food was on the counters, trash was on the floor, and decorations from a previous party remained. There was hair and dirt in the shower, hair in the dish-drying rack, and cobwebs throughout. There were also maintenance issues, including holes and missing pieces from walls. I contacted Airbnb the first night and notified the host. The host acknowledged the property had not been properly cleaned, but offered no partial refund or meaningful resolution, and suggested coming to “inspect” after 8:45 p.m. I stayed because I needed the accommodations, not because the condition was acceptable. I’m still working with Airbnb to recover part of my cost. Given the cleanliness, maintenance issues, and lack of resolution, I cannot recommend this property.

These people are scammers. This place is dirty and things are old and falling apart. They kept trying to charge me useless fees. First they have an old hot tub that things don't work as advertised. They tried to scam me into paying a fee for not being in the hot tub saying it was unattended even though I was right there eating dinner and was going to get in after. So they are watching you while you are in the hot tub which I find disturbing especially when you have children. Then they said it was set at max which doesn't state anywhere hot tub can't be turned up and again this makes no sense a hot tub is suppose to be hot. It is still working as it was so why would I be charged a fee? Then their a/c was not working and they tried to blame that on me when I never even used it because when I turned it on it was making an awful noise and shut off immediately and never used. No one ever came to fix it and it was 90 out. They had the septic pumped the first day I was there for 2 hours and

I have used Airbnb for years and I've never had a bad experience until now. As we walked in there was visible mold, water damage & the house was filthy, there were cobwebs everywhere, dust & bugs hanging from the ceilings. There was a pee stain on my friends bed as well. The photos were NOTHING like the property, all AI generated to make it look better than what it is, I could tell because the couches are different & the basketball hoop in the picture is in a completely different spot. Please save yourself and do not book this I got sick from the mold (I'm severely allergic) after being there for an our investigating how bad the house was kept up with. We couldn't even stay one night & now they won't refund us. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF AND AVOID THIS HOST/HOME

I would not recommend staying here. Here are a few options under 140 characters: 1. Paid for an extra night, confirmed it twice, yet cleaners packed our belongings before checkout. Completely unacceptable. 2. Host confirmed our extra night, then forced us out early. Cleaners packed our belongings while we were still guests. 3. Reservation was confirmed, then changed. We returned to find our belongings packed in the garage. Terrible experience. 4. Confirmed and paid for an extra night, but cleaners packed our things before checkout. Poor communication and no respect. 5. Host’s mistake ruined our stay. Our paid reservation wasn’t honored, and our belongings were packed up while we were out.

I would not stay here again. Before our trip, I messaged the host to ask if four family members could stop by during the day since we were visiting from out of town. The host explicitly said that was okay as long as we didn’t throw a party, which we never did. Throughout our stay, we repeatedly received messages saying we were being too loud, even during the daytime and even when there were only three people in the Airbnb. It felt like we were being monitored constantly, and we couldn’t relax. When the host asked our visitors to leave, they left immediately without any issues. Another downside was that the thermostat was controlled remotely by the host, so we couldn’t adjust the temperature ourselves, and the Airbnb became uncomfortably warm. Before checking out, we cleaned up, gathered the used towels, threw away all of our trash, and left the property in good condition. Despite this, the host is now claiming there was excessive cleaning required and is seeking additional charges t

The house needs lot of repairing , photos posted on Airbnb look like they put lots of filters , floor board are very old you can hear creaky sounds when walking and loose nails are exposed , I got physical injury during stay. Bugs are everywhere but heavily infested in upstairs bathrooms , then spread all over the house , toilet bowl is extremely disgusting when we arrived , I have to clean it myself After reporting these incidents to our host, they direct me to fix and minimize the problem we are facing , we are the paying customers not your workers Hosts told me they are fixing things after we leave , sealing window , fixing floor … these should have been done prior our arriving
