I just can't give it a 5 because we thought it had AC. We filter for AC and it came up because the other unit on-site has AC. It was stated in the details. It was not clear. We had a few small things like the garage door opener missing and there was no follow-up. The house was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

After mentioning to the host that I preferred that check-in information be discussed verbally, she repeatedly said "it's in the link" to any questions I asked. I found this to be disrespectful, condescending, unprofessional and lazy. This is not a company I would deal with again.

The house was 10/10! We loved the location with the lake, the surroundings, the solitude! Nicely stocked kitchen where we were able to cook the majority of our meals. The only downfall is the management company. I am aware of the “no check in instructions until 30 minutes prior to check-in”, however, we were unaware that we would not have any cell service at least an hour from the house driving from the east. That caused us to have to drive 30 extra minutes past our destination to open the “passport” for any instructions and unable to check in until at minimum an hour after check-in is allowed. The “30 minute rule” makes sense in areas where cell service is plentiful, but not in this case of being outside of town. We will visit Durango again in a heartbeat! Just not with a property management company.

This was a nice place, but a bit older. It does get pretty warm inside in the summer months. There are 5 fans in the place, but only 3 of them work. Luckily, it rained just about every day, which cooled things off. If you choose the early check in, make sure to keep checking with the host to see if it's approved. I had to reach out to the host the day of check in to see if the early check in was approved. The parking for this place is very limited. If you have one vehicle, you'll be fine. Unfortunately, we had two trucks and an SUV. I asked the host prior to our check in date to see if there's another place to park a third vehicle. They mentioned that there was near by overflow parking lot. They didn't mention that we had to get a parking permit from the from desk of the Lodge near by. We ended up getting a warning on the windshield after the first night.

Great condo just 15 minutes north of Durango. Nice rooms with comfortable beds and a plethora of pillows. The remote controls for the ceiling fans in three rooms were set to the same frequency, so it was very awkward to turn them on/off. This property is managed through a company which uses a 3rd party app outside of Airbnb which I found very annoying. I never knew who I was communicating with and a few responses basically blamed me for the fan control issue. Overall: great property, but management communication could be improved.
