Great Western Lodging in Dillon, Colorado

“I booked this property specifically because it advertised hot tub and pool access, which was highlighted in the listing description, photos, and About section. I paid $150 more than comparable properties in the area precisely for this amenity, as it was meant to be a special anniversary trip with my girlfriend. Unfortunately, upon arrival and during our stay, both the hot tubs and pool were closed for maintenance. There was no prior notice from the host about this closure neither in the check-in portal, nor via message before or during our stay. The only information listed was the normal hot tub operating hours. When I asked the host for directions, we followed the instructions exactly. We got dressed, grabbed wine and the access, walked to the clubhouse in 40 degree weather, only to find everything under maintenance. This was especially disappointing on our anniversary, as we had planned our schedule around it. The host denied a refund. Questioned us and lied about it being posted”

“The condo was great. However we had two main issues. First, the given address was incorrect, it should have been 188 building 3. The address that was given was the incorrect building that was 3 buildings away for unit 327. This delayed our check-in a little. Second, after a day of skiing it would have been nice to use a working hot tub. The clubhouse that the hot tub is in was closed until repairs are made. From what I could see through the glass door, repairs are no way close to being done. Other than that the condo was very nice and comfortable with great views of Lake Dillon.”
