“Nice family gathering in Arvada! 3 nice bedrooms on the main floor with fresh linens. Down in the basement there’s an awesome tv, sectional, bar area (with snacks!) and 2 more bedrooms. Looks like new carpet in the basement. It’s an older house so if you’re in the basement, you will definitely here other guests walking around upstairs Great stay! Will return!”

“The place is a lot bigger on the inside than it looks like from the outside I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the kitchen items, such as silverware bowls and glasses, had to rewash everything before using. Guest should be aware that two out of the three bedrooms upstairs have barn doors, and thus do not lock. The floors are quite squeaky, making it not conducive for children that are napping or sleeping. Given they advertised child, friendly amenities I was surprised there was not baby gates for the stairs.”

“We had an overall good stay. The home is comfortable, clean, and very spacious—great for a group. The hot tub was a highlight and definitely added to the experience. It’s clear the hosts have put effort into making the space welcoming. That said, there were a few issues that future guests should be aware of. One of the beds was unusable, which impacted our sleeping arrangements. Additionally, the only television is located in the basement, which requires going down fairly steep stairs—something to keep in mind depending on your group. The biggest discrepancy was with the basement bedrooms. They weren’t as bright as the photos show and one of them was unfinished with a cement floor (the same one with the unsteady bed). The couch and living room were very large and cozy, though. With a few improvements and more accurate photos, this could easily be a 5-star stay. As it stands, we still enjoyed our time, but think it’s important for others to have a clear picture when booking.”
