“We booked this property for our vacation, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. The property did not fully meet our expectations. It was very hot with no air conditioning, the fan was dusty, the balcony screen was damaged, and essential toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, and other basic amenities were missing.”

“It was great accommodation; the only downside was that the dryer was broken and there was too much chlorine in the Jacuzzi.”

“This place is OK for a summer stay. I guess in winter the location would be great if you are skiing or boarding Donner. Hosts were responsive and nothing was “wrong”. A few things. 1. You are not near any store or downtown. It’s about 10-15 min drive (not walkable or cycle-able). If you are around in the summer on a Thursday make sure to head downtown for Truckee Thursday - amazing streets full of vendors, food, etc. 2. This is a smaller place with a TIGHT corner spiral staircase. Bed is upstairs, bath downstairs. You imagine the gymnastics going to the bathroom and getting ready to go out w clothes, makeup, etc. 3. In the summer the place did stay cool. However the only ventilation is the main deck screen door. So at night, you either are comfortable leaving that open and unlocked, or you close up for the night. 4. No dishwasher 5. Mattress is really soft 5. WD work well and use an app. 6. No cable or streaming services avail. For the money in the summer - pretty good”
