“The property itself is absolutely stunning beautifully decorated, in a great location, and it really felt like an elevated space when we first walked in. Our family loved the overall feel of the home, and there were no concerns around cleanliness, safety, or pests. That said, as we lived in the space, we noticed several maintenance issues that didn’t feel aligned with the price point. The hall bathroom handle was broken and very worn, a metal piece on the fridge came loose and fell, hitting our child in the head, and the front stone steps were chipped and in need of repair. The home does not have AC, which was noted in the listing, but it did make the house very hot during our stay. The early check-in process also felt uncomfortable, as we were asked to pay a $165 fee outside of Airbnb via invoice/Stripe link. Overall, it’s a beautiful property in a great location, but the maintenance and management experience didn’t quite match the premium price point.”
