“Stayed here for a few days for a Lake Tahoe trip. Was decently clean and was organized. Some parts were remodeled and newly done so that’s a plus. However, lots of noise due to the train that passes often and right next a road that cars pass by day and night. But the biggest complain was the smell… the smell of drainage that filled up where the rooms were and the upstairs bathroom was the worst. Main living room TV wasn’t working but not the biggest deal since we rarely wanted to use it either way. Will say the host was very informative and response time was great. Had very clear instructions how to get in and how to check out so props to them.”

“We really enjoyed our stay! The house felt cozy and comfortable, and the beds were great after a long day. The host was awesome to communicate with and was kind enough to let us check in early, which made everything so much easier. Our toddler also loved the trains that went by every now and then - noise also really wasn’t an issue.”

“No place for Old Men (or women or people with disabilities) I rented this unit for 17 days to use during a visit to my son who is a Truckee, Ca resident. Unfortunately, my son has a disability which causes him to have to use a walker. What we found as as problem was that all the bedrooms, full bathrooms and laundry equipment are in a lower area requiring use of a very steep set of stairs with no other access. Our son was unable to stay with us because all of the bedrooms and full bathrooms located on the lower level. I think this information would be very helpful if stated in the description of the property. Other problems involved scarcity of pans and covers to use for cooking, a gas stove with igniters which were not working (had to use a match to light). A microwave which when using overheated and shut down. The microwave did recover after being allowed to cool down. The countertop toaster oven has seen better days and would only warm and not toast bread.”
