“The house is beautiful. The hosting service experience was very, very, sub-par. I'm an Airbnb superhost myself, with a 4.96 rating on my property from 100 reviews. I know what great hosting looks like. If I were the owner, I would fire this hosting service immediately and find someone who can actually provide a guest experience deserving of this property. They shared the wrong lockbox code at check-in. Dirty, unusable pan in dishwasher (Had to ask for a replacement). Dishwasher and trash was full on arrival. No paper towels. No laundry detergent. Host removed a table from upper deck during our stay (two strangers arrived unannounced on back deck, took the table, and left). Community instructions were from 2025. Host kept trying to message me outside of Airbnb app. Host promised to fix issues; fixed a few but most were not. I asked for a 30% refund. They refunded 2.8%. If you lower your expectations enough about the actual experience, you'll enjoy the house itself.”

“Nothing wrong with the condo but the refund policy that natural retreats offers is horrendous and not in line with other offerings in this complex. No refunds within 60 days cancellation while others offer up to 50% within a few days of the rental. The reason i wanted to cancel within 1 month and was refused was because northstar skiing closed early due to a one in multidecade heatwave. There were literally no other cars in the parking lot and natural retreats would not have been able to rent this place at the $250 a night rate i paid. They could have easily granted a partial refund and maintained my business but they didn't. SHAME!”

“The property was listed as ski-in ski-out but due to the warm conditions, I asked several times and was repeatedly told it was ski-in ski-out. Technically it is but it was not during my stay. I asked the last time 2 days prior to arrival. Not being familiar with the resort, I had no idea they were misleading me. I’m sure the place was not ski-in ski-out when I initiated messages with them. In addition, if you plan to cook in, the basic pans were in bad shape. Not what I usually get with highly rated properties. If you know the conditions are good, the place is in a good location. Be careful with any communications. Their primary goal is to make money, not to ensure you are happy. Not the type of experience I’ve had in my many years of using AirBnB.”

“Amazing place. My wife loved that we could see the gondola right over the condo. It's ski in ski out. Northstar is so difficult to navigate on the weekends. Crowds are so bad if you aren't staying in a ski in ski out condo. This is the only way to go. Book it.”
