“It was a very quiet neighborhood when we stayed. I’m guessing the neighboring houses may have been rentals, too, because nobody was around. There were people going for walks and such through the neighborhood of course though. The place was really cute and cozy. It was equipped with everything we needed, including toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap for the bathrooms, bathroom spray, cleaning supplies for the kitchen and laundry supplies as well. We got to see wildlife within the first hour we were there (a bunny and chipmunk playing in the backyard) and in the coming days that followed, a mama bear with her three cubs across the street climbing the neighbor’s fence. There was leak under the kitchen sink and they promptly got someone over to fix it. Overall, it was a great stay and I highly recommend renting!”

“This is a quaint, older cabin in a great location. Due to it's age and size, it was lacking some amenities (no microwave, no dishwasher, no laundry, very small shower, etc.). Shame on us for not reading the reviews to identify this before booking, but the main reason this property wasn't rated higher is because the property is immediately adjacent and shares outdoor amenities (yard, BBQ, etc.) with the owners. While they were friendly and generally left us alone, it was hard to relax knowing they were there and potentially watching. It also hindered our desire to spend time outside on the property, which is what you want to do in Tahoe. A for location, B for condition, D for experience.”
