We've stayed in Tahoma twenty or more times over the years; one of the previous cabins that we rented was four doors down from this one. Bare bones is the description for this place. It was clean, easy to find, and we enjoyed our stay, but almost all of the Airbnb's (and other vacation rentals) that we have stayed in have the basics. Enough coffee for a couple of days, toiletries like soap, shampoo, etc. That was not the case here. If it were priced $100 a night cheaper, that would be commensurate with the amenities provided. Safe, clean, etc., but not a place that I would seek out in the future.

I really enjoyed my stay here and loved being able to brings my dogs. The Ed Z’berg Sugar Pine park is only 2 blocks away. It’s a wonderful place for dogs and long walks. The house was really cozy and clean. I appreciated that the kitchen was well equipped and had everything I needed. The Dog & Bear Tavern right down the street was a great spot for the night I didn’t want to cook. The host was very helpful leading up to my stay and I look forward to my next opportunity to stay here.

Comfortable place, loved the big windows looking out at the trees and lake. Bonus is that the Tahoe shore access is a dog friendly beach! Those are hard to find at Tahoe! Fireplace was cozy. Great that it had covered parking. No yard for dogs so have go with dogs on a leash. But large grassy community area that dogs could do their business in. Would recommend this place to others for the dog friendly vibe, location and access to the lake.

Cozy cabin with everything you need. Quiet neighborhood and good location. There are a few things I would recommend being upgraded. The house smelled funky upon arrival so I would suggest a deoderizer. The bedding should be replaced it looks well used and scrappy and there are little holes in the sheets, comforter and a couple of the towels. There needs to be more than the two flat pillows on the bed and the cases need to fit the pillows. Since the couch is the only real place to sit it needs to be more comfortable. The backyard should be fenced. It is currently an unusable space.
