First Accommodations

“We've stayed in Tahoma twenty or more times over the years; one of the previous cabins that we rented was four doors down from this one. Bare bones is the description for this place. It was clean, easy to find, and we enjoyed our stay, but almost all of the Airbnb's (and other vacation rentals) that we have stayed in have the basics. Enough coffee for a couple of days, toiletries like soap, shampoo, etc. That was not the case here. If it were priced $100 a night cheaper, that would be commensurate with the amenities provided. Safe, clean, etc., but not a place that I would seek out in the future.”

“I really enjoyed my stay here and loved being able to brings my dogs. The Ed Z’berg Sugar Pine park is only 2 blocks away. It’s a wonderful place for dogs and long walks. The house was really cozy and clean. I appreciated that the kitchen was well equipped and had everything I needed. The Dog & Bear Tavern right down the street was a great spot for the night I didn’t want to cook. The host was very helpful leading up to my stay and I look forward to my next opportunity to stay here.”

“Our search was for a quiet, clean, cozy spot for just the 2 of us that was close to everything West Shore Tahoe- and we found it!! We have nothing but praise for our hosts, the accommodations and this lovely getaway cottage. I fear that my adding too many comments may make it difficult for us to to get a reservation in the future. Great, great place- we definitely hope to return.”

“This was my first time staying with this property. Not being from the Tahoe area I wasn’t really ready for the visual of the electric fence/gate.. so I was very cautious, however the instructions that were given were VERY clear and simple for how to properly activate and deactivate the system. Thanks to the outstanding communications that I was given by the property my entire trip was peaceful and relaxing as well as perfect for me. Th k you so very much”

“This 3 floor home was clean, accessible and in a beautiful location (you can see the lake from the two balconies). The host was responsive and accommodating. The hot tub is a short 2 min drive from the house (and is shared; located in the main rec center), but it was big enough to fit 7-10 ppl at once. I would definitely recommend booking this stay! I’d love to visit again.”

“Positives- This condo was very clean, the host responded quickly, great location, easy to find and get in the unit, we thought the beds were comfortable, really appreciate the dish soap, new sponge in wrapper and laundry supply. 18 minute drive to ski Northstar. Only downside was no coffee was provided and we were not able to use the hot tub bc we did not pack towels for the hot tub and they were not provided. That was a bummer. Maybe they can rent towels? And a start up coffee pack would be appreciated.”

“This was our second visit here. Great house with a downstairs tv room / living room and 1 bed room on the top floor. 2 very clean bathrooms. We got early check in too at around 2pm. Would definitely come back again - great experience!”
