“Great spot, very relaxing”

“We were two families, 7 people total, and stayed for 5 days. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay. The bed sheets and blankets had a very strong, unpleasant smell, which made it uncomfortable to sleep. Neither bathroom had shampoo or conditioner. There was only one extra trash bag for the entire kitchen, and we were left with only about half a roll of paper towels. The grill was also extremely dirty and not usable without cleaning it ourselves. On top of that, the porch light was not working, so the entire porch area was very dark at night, which was inconvenient and unsafe. Overall, the supplies were extremely limited, the cleanliness was not up to standard, and several basic amenities were missing or not functioning. For a 5-day stay for 7 guests, we expected much better preparation and cleanliness. Unfortunately, we were not happy with our stay and would not consider returning unless these issues are addressed.”

“The place was very clean and cozy. There’s a coffee shop, couple of restaurants and a local market walking distance from the home. I wish the furniture was more comfortable and that the home came with more basic necessities like shampoo, kitchen scissors, etc. Overall, a good place to stay for a few nights :)”

“Great location. Place is clean. Fairly priced. A little challenging for those that are handicapped - parking is far away from the location. The place has lots of stairs. Not an ideal place for younger kids given all the stairs. My biggest concern was the loft where there is a bed pushed up against a wall where littles could easily crawl up onto the bed and fall over the half railing. Bring or rent a baby gate if this is a concern for you. The unit number is very hard to find in the listing. It’s in the directions section which I wouldn’t normally refer to because I use an app for directions. I contacted the host who contacted the owner who seemed a little annoyed that I missed this detail (I believe I contacted them around 7 pm, so I didn’t feel that it was that late to call with a question). Otherwise it’s a great place to stay!”

“Location was nice. Easy walk to the Lake and the association's amenities. Just make sure you screenshot or write the directions and address before you're in Tahoe because phone reception is very spotty.”

“The home is beautiful with great views of the lake. Lots of access to trails, walking distance from Chambers beach too. Not very well stocked with supplies like bath towels, paper towels and toilet paper. In a home this large, multiple rolls of paper towels and toilet paper would come in handy. Also crazy that there aren’t pool/beach towels provided in a house with lakeside access.”

“It was mostly as expected with a few things that bugged our group. First heads up: the downstairs shower does not get hot water but other showers will be fine. They were unhelpful to fix it. The TV is finicky to navigate; it would randomly change to YouTube when we would click Netflix. There’s not enough baking sheets if your group is planning to bake/cook in the oven. Supplies truly are “starters” - we had to buy more durable trash bags even though we were only there for 2 nights. Hot tub is nice but, just know it’s favorable to drive but walking in the day is not bad.”

“Great location and very clean! Make sure to pay dog fee before getting to location. I was not give the code until that was paid and there's zero cell service!! Make sure to do everything before arriving.”
