LocalVR reviews in Tahoe Vista, California

“The house was very clean, well maintained and a good size for the five of us. It offered everything we needed. The king bed mattress could be replaced. It looked fine but seemed to sag in the middle. The bedroom doors were squeaky, but the location was great. Right across the street from a small beach on the lake, yet quiet at night and close to restaurants and small shops.”

“Great location, quiet and walkable to Kings Beach area.”

“Great communication and great place.”

“The A-frame itself is a beautiful, clean space for a Tahoe getaway (although dusty and with a lot of spider webs). However, we had a severe privacy and safety issue with the management (LocalVR). Midway through our stay, we returned to find a package delivered inside the locked house. The host confirmed in writing that the homeowner generated temporary access codes for a delivery driver to enter the home while we were out, completely without our prior knowledge or consent. Finding out a stranger was granted unmonitored access to a house where my five-year-old and one-year-old were sleeping was deeply unsettling. The property is lovely, but their approach to guest security is way below par.”

“Amazing view, which gives you the feeling of being onboard a cruise ship. The house is extremely spacious and convenient. Great value for money. Absolutely loved it.”
