“Great location, pictures were same as cottage, kitchen gear was very helpful, cottage was comfortable and cozy for two people.”

“Three Pines was the perfect cottage in the perfect location. The cottage was close to the beach, downtown restaurants, and was in walking distance to most everything you need. Can’t wait to come back.”

“We had a comfortable stay at this cozy home. The beds were fairly comfortable and it had all the basics for us. You should expect an older home without any updates. The outdoor spaces could use some attention; we didn’t end up spending any time outside. Overall, it worked for us as a home base for long afternoons at the lake. Access to the Tahoe Park Association was our primary reason for choosing this house; it’s the best!”

“Considering hotel stay. Picked Airbnb as there were no hotels convenient to Tahoe city and lake side. Place not very clean when we checked in. Shabby view from the second floor balcony. First floor backyard is a common space. Celebrating my birthday with this weekend stay with my family of six. Expecting two car spots. Struggled to find a second spot. Sunday early check out by 10am did not allow a late Saturday. Overall did not feel relaxing and certainly not worth the money.”

“Wins * Location: Walkable to the beach, restaurants, coffee shops, and more. * Amazing deck: Beautiful lake views and a great spot to relax. * Garage access: A nice convenience, especially for Tahoe weather, bikes, etc. * Very comfortable primary bedroom bed. * Great washer/dryer. * Well-equipped kitchen: Has most of what you’ll need for a comfortable stay. Opportunities for improvement * The home feels quite dated: Most of the furnishings and finishes could use some updating. * Bear mat at the front door: I was surprised by this and would recommend being careful not to step on it barefoot. There are instructions, but it wasn’t completely clear to me whether the system was on or off. Clearer labeling/instructions would give guests more peace of mind. * One bedroom has two small beds- ideally at least one bigger bed in that room.”
