We really liked the location and the community is very quiet with a nice pool. The place itself is also nice and basically exactly what it looks like. There are a few not great things though too: 1. They messaged us several times about signing a check-in form, giving ID, and a credit card. You do not need to do this. We did not. It doesn’t say this in the posting. 2. The beds are not very comfortable and the curtains might as well not be there since they don’t block much light. 3. The kitchenware is all extremely cheap, which is normal for Airbnb, but the handles of the pots in particular get extremely hot to the point where I actually burned my finger the first time (very minor but still visible the next day). 4. The toilet paper is close to 80 grit sandpaper. Despite this list, we did have a nice stay and like the place overall. We felt it was a bit expensive for what it was but August in Tahoe is going to be pricey.

Our Airbnb home was clean, beautifully furnished, and in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed the total experience. Can’t wait to come back.

Not sure how to rate as this is a fabulous place in terms of orientation/view and spaciousness. First, the photos showed a yoga/exercise room with glorious photos of floor-to-ceiling windows but due to a bear breaking the windows -- on an unknown date -- the windows were all boarded up so the room had no appeal. Should have been given warning. Second, the photos showed a lovely wooden deck table for family dining. Nope, no table. Missed breakfast, dinner dining on the deck. Third, the photos showed two comfy looking reclining deck chairs for relaxing and there was only one wooden lounge chair with no cushion -- uncomfortable. Right before we left they said deck chairs mDeck desperately needs repair. No A/C -- fine -- but missing screens and screen with hole made opening windows a buggy experience. Master mattress needs replacing. Very limited supplies. Slow responses. Honored our reasonable $300 credit request. You judge whether three stars was fair considering the positives.

The house is very cool. Great architecture and luxurious space. The back deck was beautiful and it was a joy to relax under the trees on it. The neighborhood was nice and quiet… the one disappointing thing was that none of the HOA amenities are available to renters. The listing description does mention that, but somehow I didn’t realize that we wouldn’t be permitted to use the private beach. At this price point, we were bummed about this.
