“It was a very negative experience!! My daughter’s birthday was ruined!! Nit having hot water the electricity not working a total disaster”

“first I had to tell them to give me the check-in instruction, then no power and no heat in the house, called them at 4:30, and several times after, so they finally send someone at 8:30, but still no heat. so we had to relocate, in the middle of an icy road to a new location. the new location was on the other side of the lake, and the drive way was on a slope, obviously it was so icy that we could not park there, had to park on the side of the main street. they are seriously under staffed and seriously in need of a better service. I'm seriously demanding a refund, the check-in at 4, and we finally were able to sit down at 10pm. so slow on the service, and again, seriously understaffed for a company that claims they are the best in Big Bear.”

“For the price not worth it at all I couldn’t even shower we would run out of hot water after 1 person shower, for the price it’s the worst cabin I’ve had not recommend..”

“The good: Clean Loved the cabin. Great location. Lots of mini heaters. The bad: It was overpriced. We paid 2k for 4 nights. It was VERY cold when we arrived, thermostat read 55’. The fireplace wasn’t working properly. Cool Cabins responded quickly and sent maintenance to fix and turn on. The hallway shower head isn’t properly installed. It will shoot water all the way to the sink and wet half of the bathroom. You have to throw away your trash 20min away or be charged $50. Not enough towels.”

“I recently stayed at Sugarloaf Cabin with a group of 5, and we had a wonderful time! The cabin is cozy, clean, and perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway in the mountains. The kitchen was well-equipped and the beds were comfortable. One small thing to note: definitely bring your own toiletries if you’re staying with a larger group. The cabin provided small hotel-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner which weren’t quite enough for the five of us over our stay. Not a big deal, but good to know ahead of time. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend Sugarloaf Cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. We’d love to come back!”
