Super organized and responsive. The house was beautiful and the accommodations were great.

Our third Winter stay here in as many years, and I'm leaning toward being over it. Many great qualities; Good price and location, convenient parking, spacious unit, hot tub/sauna, to name a few. Biggest complaints are 1. On the day of check-in both roads into Tahoe from the SF Bay Area (80, 50) were closed (huge snowstorm), and our request for any type of partial refund was outright denied by Vacasa. There was literally no way to get there; 2. Upon our 1:30 pm check-in the following day, the thermostat read 52 degrees. We turned it up, but the unit is so poorly insulated that by 11:00 pm it was still only 60. Took til following noon to hit 70. The furnace essentially ran all day and night. There's a fully-staffed Vacasa front desk a two-minute walk away, someone could easily have had the unit ready; 3. Main level flooring is so shot, boards lifting, uneven, that we twice snagged socks. Many cracked tiles also; 4. Very sparse kitchen (only 3 spoons - I had to walk for more!)

I agree with other reviews, this unit is bare, needs maintenance, kitchen drawer fronts were falling off, they must not pay for the path to this unit to get plowed, was one of 10 units on the path that didn't get plowed, and snow was over the steps, which were so slippery it was unsafe, yet there wasn't even a shovel to clear the snow from the door... there was 4-5" snow up against the door and would flood the door opening... not a single tool to clean it with, no rug on the main floor at all to buffer the mess, no dryer in the unit yet it was very hard to keep things dry... there was poor lighting upstairs and downstairs, the bathroom door would lock itself... we have stayed in other units in this complex that were much nicer... hot tub was great, but the showers only run cold water, no other amenities were open... they were inflexible on pricing despite not having offered amenities available due to snow storm, overpriced for what was offered. Rude call from office before check in
