“Do NOT stay here! The police sirens and ambulance sirens, the unhoused population right outside your door yelling obscenely, the unit in dire need of repairs and repaint. No need to choose one when you can have them all here! The host is no help. I complained about the condition of the unit the first day I arrived. The host sent a cleaning woman that changed the sheets. That’s IT. The sink is falling apart, there are missing closet doors, the cabinet scrape the ceiling when you open them, it wasn’t clean on arrive at all. The photos posted are inaccurate. The unit is clearly OUTDATED and the host couldn’t care less. The sheets and pillowcases were even dirty. I slept on the tiny sofa to avoid the bed. Do NOT recommend!”

“The good. The apartment was in a good location. It was walkable for the Gaslamp Quarter and several coffee shops/restaurants/stores. A limited amount of parking is available, but that's $20/nt extra, so inquire about that otherwise you're parking off-site and probably paying more. The lot surrounding the building is dilapidated and a bit unsightly. There's a lot of homeless in San Diego, so don't be surprised to see them hanging around. We didn't have any issues with anyone and never felt unsafe. We just slept and made a few meals there, otherwise we were gone most of each day. We took issue with their auto responses to our questions, with no real solutions. No kitchen towels or paper towels and we had to buy a spatula for the grill. The rug and couch had visible stains. The floor under the couch was dirty, the stove hood had the ole greasy/dust layer, and the vent cover in the bathroom was filthy. So if you have modest expectations, you won't be disappointed. WE will NOT stay again.”

“Parking was terrible, spent about $300 on parking over the course of a 5 day stay. Too many homeless people right outside. Not the cleanest Airbnb I’ve stayed at. Pullout couch was broken and there was no mattress even though there were supposed to be 2 beds. Keypad didn’t work, got locked out because key was left inside, when someone came to unlock, tried charging a $150 lockout fee. While trying to handle issues with getting in, was told that we’d figure it out the next day because she didn’t want to handle it at that point in time. After the initial issues, the rest of the stay was okay. But wouldn’t stay there again.”

“The place was in a great location. It was conveniently located easy to get to everything you need or want to do. That being said when we got there the toilet was broken, but Jay was great and sent a Handyman out within the hour. Later that evening we got into our bed and it felt almost sandy. I was a little confused but thankfully there was a washer and dryer in the unit so we were able to wash the bedding just to ensure that it was clean. After we washed it, we did notice that the sheets were like peeling. Which very much could’ve been why they felt like they were Sandy. Overall, Jay was very responsive and very attentive to anything that needed to be handled. I didn’t reach out on regards to the sheets feeling Sandy. But we loved that it was very centrally located. And extremely close to Coronado.”

“Overall a cleaner unit would be better. Hairdryer doesn’t work well because it’s clogged. Ironing board is very old. The outside of the unit, the building is very dirty”
