Amazing location, but actual Airbnb needs some work. It feels musty, smells off, and needs a deep clean (especially the carpet). Towels and sheets were scratchy and sheets were stained and smelled bad. There’s very little ventilation (only one window works), and the walls are super thin. Like you can hear other guests through the bathroom wall. Check-in and check-out are later and earlier than any hotel I’ve stayed in. For the amount paid, we would’ve been better off staying at a hotel. The place just feels like it needs some improvements, but the location is genuinely great.

Great Great Great Location!! Great shower with amazing strong stream. couple of things that are worth knowing: - there's no where to dry towels/bathing suits/anything, especially problematic with how close it is to the beach. - the beaches in the area are full of tar and there are no means to clean it off close/shoes - even though the leaving instructions specifically ask to leave all the dishes in the dishwasher there is no dishwasher in the apartment

I wish I had read the reviews in advance about how small it is and doesn't have a kitchen. The photos made it look like there were two separate rooms but it's one room with a bed and a sun room with a bed and mini fridge/microwave off the main room. The only sink is the bathroom. It was fine to stay there but was definitely surprised by the size.

There were issues with my unit. First, I chose this listing because parking was provided. The reserved parking is limited and NOT guaranteed. There are not enough spots for all of the units. If you arrive later in the evening, you'll be looking for parking on the street. Second, the fire alarm battery needed to be replaced and it LOUDLY beeped every 40 seconds.I messaged the property management at 7:00pm and was assured that the battery would be replaced immediately. We left and arrived back at 10:00pm and the battery was not replaced. We would not get a restful night of sleep with the fire alarm beeping.I was advised by the property management to REMOVE the battery from the alarm. I was not comfortable with that suggestion, I did not want to be liable should a fire occur in the building. No one came to replace the battery that night or that morning.I talked to the cleaning staff and they resolved the issue. The unit was not ready or safe at upon arrival and that was not OK!

overall an okay stay. the location was extremely convenient bc it's so close to everything we were interested in visiting (zoo, beach, and downtown). we were able to walk and it felt like a safe enough area to do so. the room was clean but the furniture is not exactly like the pictures. the study desk is holding the tv so we weren't able to use it. the place smelled old, due to it being an older building, but an easy fix with air freshener spray we packed. the water pressure in the shower was great! careful though, water may leak to the floor if you don't move the shower head to the inner corner. they are slow to respond to messages so if you have an issue it may take them a while to get back to you.
