“Great location! The listing said a pack n play was available but when I asked to verify that it would be there I was told I’d have to rent one for $12/day. Same with a high chair. So we brought our own, only to find one in the closet when we arrived. I also had to do a pre- check in phone call, upload my passport/ DL onto a separate website, and also find street parking first to get the gate to open when checking in. The space was big and great for a family of 6. So close to the beach and the bay! We enjoyed our stay.”

“Place is great but AC was broken when we checked in; reached out to host to get it fixed but didn't hear back at all during our entire stay”

“Nancy’s property could use an HGTV-style “Roast My Rental” makeover. The balcony chair cushions look thick in the photos but are thin, worn, and uncomfortable. We used couch pillows for extra padding. The living room couch is extremely uncomfortable, requiring several pillows for support. The bed differs from the photos and has no box spring. Though comfortable, the mattress sits below the side rails, making access difficult. The refrigerator smelled strongly and contained the owner’s food, unlike other Airbnb’s I have visited. The hallway to the unit is dark and needs brighter lighting. The garage remote did not work, and the promised replacement never arrived. The entry-code and lighting instructions should be condensed into a simpler guide. In closing, after reading a number of reviews with these points mentioned and nothing has been done...we, will not be staying here again.”

“We were very disappointed with this property. On check in we found: broken bathroom sink, animal stain on rug, lamp cord patched with electrical tape, stained shower curtain, some trash on furniture, cheap/worn furniture, broken paper towel holder, and WiFi not working. The unit clearly had not been inspected properly and appeared to have only been cleaned lightly with sticky light switches and filmy counter tops. We contacted Nancy's and they were very responsive, sending maintenance the next morning and getting the broken and stained items fixed. They also provided us with a small refund. However, this unit needs a deep cleaning and needs to be updated. As others have commented, this unit being on the second floor is very close to the hotel next door, and with no AC, needing windows to be open can be noisy at night, as well as cigarette smoke drifting in. We certainly have no intention to stay at this property again, even though the location of this building is fantastic.”

“We had a great vacation in San Diego and loved this apartment due to the location in the Crown Point neighborhood on Mission Bay. The area is so local, so peaceful, nice beach, easy to access PB, Mission Beach, and even OB. These are what made it 4 stars. We wished the dishes were cleaner, the shower was a little cleaner, closet was decluttered, and the bikes were nicer. We loved riding the bikes around the bay and on the boardwalk, but don’t expect nice bikes.”
