“The home was cozy, close to the beach, and comfortable to sleep in, but the overall experience was disappointing and not worth the price. When we arrived, there was a large pile of trash outside covered with maggots, flies, and gnats that remained throughout our stay. Inside, there were ants crawling around, dirty dishes left in the dishwasher, and the bunk bed room had a strong body odor smell. We also received a last-minute notice about "garage maintenance," but it turned into active construction. The pounding on the wall next to where I was sleeping woke us up and disrupted an important Zoom business meeting. Although the host apologized for the construction noise, the cleanliness issues, pests, unexpected construction, and communication made this stay fall well below expectations.”
