β€œDO NOT STAY HERE! The host photos are grossly misleading. For easy context to compare the carpet is at least 40 years old and brown. First-floor windows had broken locks. And some without screens. Multiple windows on the first floor could easily be opened from outside. This was a major security concern, particularly while sleeping in an unfamiliar neighborhood with two young children. Broken and sharp tile at the entrance. We were concerned about our children injuring their feet so we created a barrier around the foyer to keep them away from the broken tile. Unsafe stairway and banister. The stair railing appeared unsafe, with a section/batten missing and a large open gap. The host tried to pretend that he didn't know about any of this but that cannot be true, those window locks have been broken for a long time! I am happy to talk to anyone trying to book this location and tell them what to actually expect.”

β€œThe interior of the Airbnb was comfortable and accommodated my family well. We traveled from Southern California to Sacramento to visit my mother’s 90-year-old sister, and the home itself met our needs. Unfortunately, we had an unpleasant experience with the neighbor. While we were in the backyard playing music at a reasonable volume, the neighbor placed a speaker directly against the fence and began playing loud beeping noises toward the property. If the music was bothering him, I wish he had simply come over and politely asked us to lower the volume. The following day, I asked him why he had done that, and he told me he was tired of people staying at the Airbnb. The issue was clearly with the neighboring resident, not the host or the property itself. If you plan on spending time in the backyard or playing music while using the pool, just be aware that the neighbor may be sensitive to any activity.”
