Ready to Book
4.73Visit website
Ready to Book's guest rating of 4.73 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“DO NOT STAY HERE! The host photos are grossly misleading. For easy context to compare the carpet is at least 40 years old and brown. First-floor windows had broken locks. And some without screens. Multiple windows on the first floor could easily be opened from outside. This was a major security concern, particularly while sleeping in an unfamiliar neighborhood with two young children. Broken and sharp tile at the entrance. We were concerned about our children injuring their feet so we created a barrier around the foyer to keep them away from the broken tile. Unsafe stairway and banister. The stair railing appeared unsafe, with a section/batten missing and a large open gap. The host tried to pretend that he didn't know about any of this but that cannot be true, those window locks have been broken for a long time! I am happy to talk to anyone trying to book this location and tell them what to actually expect.”airbnb

“We were very unhappy with this place. First, the side gate to the backyard to get to the lock box is not on hinges. You have to pick up the old, splintery door to get to the backyard to the lock box. For a house that accommodates 8, one single key is ridiculous. The listing claims "Key-less entry with door code upon arrival" which is incorrect. You need that one key every time to lock and unlock. We found numerous roaches in the kitchen and bathroom despite us killing the ones we saw and spraying. The host's response was to keep the doors and windows closed, which was not a solution. (The doors and windows were closed anyway due to the heat.) We put our food in the refrigerator instead of on the counter, but found a roach there! Unacceptable. We did not feel like we could use the kitchen AT ALL due to the unsanitary conditions. In fact, we left a day early because we could not fully enjoy the space. Pros: the air conditioning worked well, and the couch and beds were comfortable.”airbnb

“We booked this house for family to stay in while visiting from out of town. Prior to arrival, the host was very communicative. Unfortunately, after bringing to his attention an issue with ants in the kitchen, the host became slow to respond, and I had to reach out multiple times regarding the issue. We provided pictures of the ants, locations they were in, etc, and asked for a remedy of the situation (a discount for our troubles, as we had to throw away food and clean after spraying ant killer). I was told by the host that they didn’t find any ants after checkout and the cleaners had come, so they wouldn’t be doing anything. Poor communication, pest problem, and no remedy for the inconvenience of the ants leads me to my subpar review and rating. Hopefully they fix the issue and communicate better with future renters. It’s a nice location and quiet neighborhood.”airbnb

“Ice maker made noise the entire stay even after a “maintenance “ man tried to fix. No board games or any recreational equipment. No outdoor grill.”airbnb

“My biggest complaint was that the oven was broken. I incurred additional fees to take my family out for food, we couldn't cook the groceries that we bought beforehand. I was pushed off by the host saying that the oven was checked and working when it clearly was not. I asked for a partial refund to offset the unexpected costs of eating out for a party of six and never got a response from the host even to this date. The host was in no way helpful and very unprofessional.”airbnb

“I’ve never left a somewhat bad review of an Airbnb before. But unfortunately, this experience called for it! When we first checked in, the host messaged me and let us know the trash next to the front door would be picked up at some point that day. We stayed 2 days and no one came for the trash. There was probably…. 10-15 bags of trash that, as you can probably imagine, smelled bad and were infested with flies. Said flies were making their way inside anytime we opened the front door. Based on the amount of trash, I imagine it hadn’t been grabbed in a while. The other thing is the front gate is broken! You can just open it without entering the code. Again, I messaged the host. He said someone would be by in a couple of hours to fix it…. No one came. Based on the damage of the gate, it’s probably been broken for awhile. And the neighborhood is.. sketchy to say the least. The gate needs to be fixed. Inside was clean besides the fly issue. Spacious. Beds were comfortable. Amenities good”airbnb

“Bare minimum effort at best. The house was clean but the pool was not. Left over mix match soap and body wash provided. Sub par air conditioning. Nice neighborhood!”airbnb

“We booked the place for 2 nights and 3 days. The first night was not good since the A/C turned off. Setting is incorrect. Technically, when the temperature rises the A/C automatically turns on. It did not. When you lower the temperature settings on the thermostat then the A/C activates. Inaccurate information. We were told that all bathrooms are outside the bedrooms. There was one bedroom with a dedicated bathroom. All occupants of the 5 bedrooms had to share the 2 bathrooms outside. I expected the laundry soap to be either powder or liquid. Instead there were 10 to 12 laundry pods. I was told that fabric softener will be provided. There was none. The soap dispenser in the first bathroom outside was not working. You have to open the soap dispenser to get hand soap. A big inconvenience. There are missing vertical slats in the blinds in the rear door. If you close the blinds someone can still see the inside through the missing slats. Early check in and late check out were approved.”airbnb

“This is the only time in my decade of using Airbnb that I am rating a place 2 stars. While it doesn't feel great, I couldn't justify giving the place any more. There were some pros, but there were way more cons. Pros 1. Nice location 2. Big 3. Clean Cons 1. The hot tub was not working for our entire stay 2. For a house that fits up to 12, it is poorly stocked - there were maybe 4 glasses, very few plates, one small pot, and one (maybe two) small pans. But somehow 3 colanders? There was barely any coffee, no essentials like oil, very few paper towels, very little sugar, etc. 3. The description says it gives you enough toilet paper for short days - false. We were 12 people and were given a roll per bathroom, none of which were new 4. none of the outlets in any of the bathroom worked 5. The place is poorly furnished - a lot of empty space did not feel homey 6. Many of these concerns we raised to the hosts and were just told - they would contact X person. Honestly, Never helpful”airbnb

“Checked out early. Dryer was broke, dishes were cracked and chipped, not all the lights worked, stair railing was loose, 1 shower has no hot water. Complained multiple times and kept getting told maintenance was on the way. Finally on 3rd day involved Airbnb support and still took hours for someone to finally show up and still didn’t fix everything. Did provide new dishes and knife set but overall terrible experience. Had booked for 22 nights and left after 3. Hope Airbnb inspects and removes listing until brought to reasonable condition. Also homeless all over and street parking is extremely difficult to find”airbnb
