“Overall, we were very pleased with this rental. We had a large group of 12 and there was more than enough space for us all to spread out. The only awkward bedroom was the one with the bunk beds. It isn’t really described in the listing as being a room within one of the king sized bedrooms. Luckily the sofa had a pull out in the rec room as one guest didn’t want to be walking through one of the couple’s bedrooms. The space was very big with lots of different spots to hang out and the owner allowed us to have a few people over for dinner on Saturday night. There were a couple of disappointments, however. No matter what we did, we couldn’t get the main fireplace to work. We weren’t able to use the Japanese soaking tub as the knobs were turned too tight for anyone to turn and the hot tub never got warm enough to get into. It was a bummer not to get to use the advertised amenities as they were something we paid for and were expecting to use and the place was priced for use of them.”

“Honestly it’s like a dream come true such a beautiful cabin a nice trip and very nice experience we had for my family and friends to stay at! I hope we didn’t upset the neighbors or anyone around, we had a great time! It’s an amazing view, place and lovely experience thank you for being so kind and welcoming”

“Tim’s place (managed by RedAwning) was so beautiful! The high ceilings, plentiful beds/bedrooms, and extensive kitchen were standouts for our large group. Tim was an awesome host, always responding quickly and offering flexibility. Would return if in the Truckee area again!”

“the unit had adequate space, was a little grimy, had very dated furnishings, plenty of dishes, pots and pans. No spices, aluminum foil, plastic or other bags. Beds and showers were fine. Did not think it was a good value.”

“Beautiful house. No air conditioning made it a little uncomfortable, but we made it work with the provided fans. Would definitely stay again, but would want to stay during a milder time of year.”
